Scott Moser, Case Coordinator

Having grown up in the “Valley Of The Jolly Green Giant” in rural southern Minnesota – a farm kid through and through – I feel very much at home here in Humboldt.

Bachelor of Arts received May 1986 from Hamline University (go fighting PIPERS!), Saint Paul, Minnesota.

I have been employed providing Day Habilitation, Pre-vocational, Enclave, and Residential Services in Saint Paul and here in Humboldt.  I’ve enjoyed working with people of varying abilities and diagnoses for (do I have to admit how long?) 23 years.  As have many in this field, I’ve moonlighted holding positions in campus security, and also worked as a long term care social worker.

In my “spare” time I enjoy time with my sons and family, photography, playing in my yard and garden, Tae Kwon Do, cooking (cleaning not so much) and the rare trips to Minnesota’s Boundary Waters.

I’ve seen waivers, directions, and service philosophies come and go; I have always held to the belief that all are equal and due more than basic dignity and respect.  I hold to the idea that individuals have rights and that every right holds personal responsibility.
